General Election Results For Pendle

At the General Election in Pendle on 5th May 2005, 41132 votes were cast (approximately 63% of the total number of eligible voters) with the following result:

Gordon Prentice (Labour): 15250 votes (-7.5%).

31.8%

Jane Ellison (Conservative): 13070 votes (-2.1%).

23.2%

Shazad Anwar (Liberal Democrat): 9528 votes (+9.4%).

6.2%

Thomas Boocock (British National Party): 2547 votes (+1.2%).

1.8%

Graham Cannon (UK Independence Party): 737 votes (-1%).
